One very interesting voice thread titled Weather: Art and Poetry by Ms. Matton's class was created for the science of weather. Students were studying weather. They drew pictures of the weather and created poems related to their chosen weather condition. In the voicethread, their pictures were displayed as they read their poetry. I could use this same method for any content area.
I saw another voicethread of World Travels 2004 by Michael. While viewing this voicethread, I had an idea to send students with disposable cameras around the community on an adventure taking pictures. They could write the name of the place and tell a little about it. We could create a voicethread and photographs of our community.
