Thing #9 – Play in the Wiki Sandbox

On the Downside
I didn’t find working in the Wiki very user friendly. Maybe I just don’t know enough about creating the Wiki yet. I wanted to arrange things on the page, but it was difficult. I couldn’t put things where I wanted to put them. I would prefer arranging my Wiki more like a Prezi layout. There was a limited font selection. I couldn't get the table to display text. I never got the Table of Contents right (I want the box and text to be smaller). I created a Voki and it took me a LLLLOOOONNGGGGG time to find out how to embed it. After much persistence, I finally got it. And ON and ON!!!

Maybe I’ll try again later. I’m falling behind!!! Kudo's to those of us racing to complete The 23 Things. This is hard & a lot of work!

On the Upside
Probably with a little more time, or maybe $$$money$$$ I could work through the Wiki with ease. I'm sure there are more available gizmos & gadgets incuded with a paid version. The things that I liked were more related to Thing 9 activities than the Wiki. I’m sure I could have some fun with the Online Image Generator. It has so many different ways to manipulate and enhance digital pictures & photographs: framing, scrapbook creator, mirrorizor, and many more.

The Voki was also entertaining.

I haven't looked at your wiki yet, but your blog page is fantastic. I love the background. I had trouble with the table of contents and the Voli on the wiki. I'm sure there are other sites to make a wiki with the formatting you like.
Keep trudging!

Thanks for the feedback on the blog.I happened to look at my blog from another computer and it looked different, so I'm not sure what everyone else sees.

I've tried to make this blog appealing so others will like it. I'm sure a few less words and a lot more pictures would be better. I'll have to work on that. It's SSSOOO much information, and I don't want to miss a thing!
